Dalston, London, UK
The building aims to popularize this unique sport by providing access to the public to view it from every possible angle and from a multitude of distances: it offers a journey through space.
The outer form follows the inner layout of stairs and ramps with the only opening being a roof window that forms a well of light that illuminates the ground floor tunnel below through a glass floor.
The ground floor tunnel connects the street to the garden easing circulation and providing better access to the garden on the other side of the site.
All plans and sections are hand-drawn as using software other than Photoshop was not allowed.
